It was a weekend of repeats. This is what I wore last Saturday. There's a better view of the t-shirt in the previous incarnation of this outfit here.
It rained the entire day but that was exactly what I needed. Forced to stay indoors I finally tackled my growing "to be altered/hemmed" pile. It is inexcusable how long I keep stuff sitting around, wasting away in that pile. There were some great items in there, including a perfectly slouchy yet slim pair of Theory pants and almost a week's worth of work trousers. It took the whole afternoon but at the end of it I felt like I had a whole new wardrobe. I vow never to let that pile grow that high again!
Nation Ltd. oversized tee layered over Monrow tee // James Jeans skinny pants // 3.1 Phillip Lim chunky cardigan (Barneys Co-op/Philly) // Chloe boots (DSW Shoes/NYC) // Hermes cuff // Elizabeth & James knuckle ring // silver ring set (forkjewelry.com) // Marc Bernstein leather and metal wrap bracelet // Furla lightweight scarf (yoox.com)
Like the grey colour of your outfit! Fantastic ringsss
ReplyDeleteNow that you've done all the hard work of altering the work pants I would love to see another work wear post sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!! I love this casual look!
ReplyDeleteThis outfit looks so comfy!
ReplyDeleteI have a huge pile of work clothes that need altering, too. It's funny. I probably spend more time at work than not, yet work attire is always my last priority. Lol!
I recently took a bunch of stuff to the tailors- it's such a great feeling to get it all back. It's like shopping but not. It's a no-shopping loophole!
ReplyDeletegreat look! elegant and comfortable
