casual

i try to put effort into all my outfits, but sometimes (usually on sundays), i just want to be comfortable. i take a break from heels and tight jeans and break out the boyfriend jeans, jersey pants, and oversize tees and sweaters.

Autumn Cashmere sweater; Prada mohair vest; Balenciaga leather pants; Elizabeth Gillett fringe scarf; classic Lanvin flats

Pringle 1815 chunky sweater; Rick Owens Lilies tank and jersey pants; Nikes

Nation LTD oversize tee; AG boyfriend jeans; Elizabeth Gillett fringe scarf; Chanel t-strap flats

  1. Style twin. :-). Getting out of my sweats on a Sunday is always a challenge. Perhaps I'll be inspired now. Still loving Philly?

  2. I LOVE the first and third outfits, but I can't say the same for the middle one. It looks sloppy to me and does nothing for your figure. The sweater in that one is great, looks so cozy, but I just can't feel it paired with those pants.

  4. You look great, as usual. I commented on your blog a while back about Philly not having any style (I was born, raised & still live here). Any hate at work yet on your outfits/style? They probably don't know what your wearing anyway. :) The Main Line bitches are even losing their edge. hahaha

  5. hey guys, as always, thanks for visiting!

screwdestiny: hmmm... i think that's the point of dressing for comfort... it's certainly not the most flattering outfit but it sure is comfortable! rick owens jersey is so soft and it's always double-layered. i almost don't care how i look in those pants cuz they're so damn comfy!

^^ anon: i have a whole other wardrobe for work. i have some work outfits on the blog somewhere, labelled "werk," you'll see that it's very different from my "play" outfits, so no one at work really comments on anything. as for the rest of philly, no comments on my outfits yet but i do get a lot of quizzical stares. so far philly style to me is uggs and north face, lol, but i haven't had time to venture out of center city yet, i bet olde city has funkier style!
