winded

These pants were so well-concealed among the tons of other black things in my closet that I forgot all about them. I'm glad I re-discovered them, the high waist works perfectly with my lace crop top. This is also the inaugural picture using ---> Tag Loudly <--- just hover over the first photograph for information on what I'm wearing (might not work in some RSS feed readers, like Google)!

Maybe it was the brief taste of spring we got last Friday, but I really did not feel like wearing a winter coat anymore even though it was still quite cold; I wore a scarf and cashmere wrap in lieu of a coat. I was totally fine until I got hit with the wind gusts. Holy crap. It was quite a workout just walking against the wind.

How do you like my market bag? I'm so trendy, I know. It's no Jil Sander but it'll do... for now... (It's really old, from Whole Foods ;-)

  1. ^^ yes, it seems to be a bit finicky. I will see if moving the script around works a bit better. Thanks for the feedback!

  3. I'm usually not a fan of leggings but the material and cut here is impeccable. Great layering as always!
I can't see the credits, though I saw boxes when the pic loaded up.

  4. I saw the Jil Sander market bag on net-a-porter and thought it looked perfect... but in person it looked a bit cheap.

So I like yours much better ;)

  5. The Barneys Warehous sale was underwhelming... I went in the middle of the day on a Saturday so half the merchandise was on the floor. There wasn't anything special but it's always a pretty good place for basics because I feel like the people shopping there are looking for statement items/crazy shoes and don't want to try on pants.

Also — weren't you the one with that amazing fluo bag?

  9. ^^ thank you! Yes, I should wear them more often, but you know with Herve Leger stuff, everything is super-tight so I can only wear them when I'm at my skinniest, haha. Sometimes I just forget about certain items. These pants are old (seen here back in 2009) I should look through my archives once in a while to jog my memory.

  10. i like the rollover feature! maybe i'm making this up, but did you say before you do something with programming/web design? you always have such nice features on your site.

i like this outfit a lot- you managed to work the summery lacey top into an outfit without it looking out of place.

  11. ^^ ah no, unfortunately I can't take credit for such genius. It is the work of phoshpenefashion.com, the site is tag.loudly.com. And although I can do a bit of programming, I'm a trained MechE. Thinking about going back to school for CompSci though, except those kids always seemed to be miserable. Maybe I'll just stick to a programming workshop or something. Gotta have that edge for when the robots take over you know...

  14. The bracelet and the top is what makes this outfit for me. I love the mix of crochet and studs.
