i have been dying to wear these heels ever since i bought them several weeks ago but have not had the opportunity. there are still piles of snow everywhere from the recent blizzards which are slowly melting into dirty puddles. i would hate to ruin the light-colored leather. booooo.
with rain and more snow in the forecast for this entire week i guess they will have to chill out in their little shoe bags for a while longer. this is my first pair of Margiela shoes and i have to say i love the dust bags - they remind me of those shoe covers scientists wear in ultra-clean, like single-digit ppm dust, environments.

Those are amazing!!! Don't you just hate it when you have to wait to wear something you love?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I bought some shoes with a similar heel. I am dying to get them and I really hope they fit. They're sandals so I'll probably won't wear them for a while but I don't care. I want to have them home!
p.s. the dust bags totally remind me of a hospital! lol!
I hadn't seen those boots in the nude color - stunning. Only recently discovered your blog but am a big fan - you have great style. Also jealous of your tech skills - the roll-overs are awesome.

The heels are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI have several pairs of shoes I won't wear until the snow is gone. Staring at them and wishing I could wear them is pure torture.
ReplyDeleteI looove the 1st photo: composition perfect and great colour palette and still like so much those 2 pendants dangling together... i likely mentioned before, but the shade of the Hermès cdc is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeletelove the nail boots. i've been to the margiela store and they do indeed wear the white coats, sort of like kiehl's. very sterile. that's what i love about his aesthetic. very clean cut. let me know how they are on comfort. been looking at the tabi boots, but since i can't wear flip flops (they hurt my feet, lol), i'm not sure i could pull off those boots with a 3" heel.
ReplyDeletesrsly, what is wrong with the weather lately? i was starting to feel like a big bore complaining about the rain and snow, but what else are we supposed to do? drooling at your martin margiela's. yum. can't wait to see what looks your whip up with them come spring time!

that's the worst part! when the stupid weather won't let you wear things properly. it's worse than waiting on christmas morning to arrive.
