each of these is pretty unique but still, how many black blazers does one person actually need...
1. Helmut Lang (original/pre-Theory, by Helmut Lang) cross-strap blazer:
2. Balenciaga boyfriend blazer:
3. Costume National Luxe silk blazer:
4. Yves Saint Laurent "le smoking" tuxedo jacket:
must... stop... buying... black... blazers!!!
all worn with:
Martin Margiela Line 1 nude bodysuit;
Rick Owens merino wool pants;
flea market copper necklace
^^ yes, the straps are removable; same idea as suspenders, I guess, except instead of attaching them to pants you attach them to the inside of the jacket.
ReplyDeleteI was also immediately drawn to the straps on the first one. Gorgeous and unusual. I really don't think you can possibly have too many black blazers. They go with everything and are so simple-chic.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which I like best!

What Daphne said! You can never have too many blazers. Plus, yours are so unique!
ReplyDeletevery cool idea for post series.
ReplyDeleteno worries; definitely have to actively NOT purchase more black blazers. i'm in the market for another blazer as the one i have falls quite low. great collection though. and you can wear them all for work, non?
ReplyDeleteThey're far too hard to resist. Especially when on sale.
ReplyDeletemy favorite on you is the balenciaga but I like that easy feel.
ReplyDeletewell seeing all these black blazers in a row makes it obvious that they are all different! i don't actually own a black blazer, and now you make me think i ought to. i really love the strap detail in the 1st one. ~joelle
