  1. That Lang strap one is very interesting. Are they removable? It reminds of some things that Kris Van Assche does at Dior Homme. That Costume National also has a very tailored hour glass shape, very nice. I think CN is pretty under-rated.

I'm laughing to myself, because I am at 6 black blazers and counting, 3 of which are tuxedos, 2 of which are Theory lol!... I think I need to start saving my pennies for Theyskens/Theory next year. I get tempted by Kris Van Assche jackets, but really, the madness...

  2. ^^ yes, the straps are removable; same idea as suspenders, I guess, except instead of attaching them to pants you attach them to the inside of the jacket.

  3. I was also immediately drawn to the straps on the first one. Gorgeous and unusual. I really don't think you can possibly have too many black blazers. They go with everything and are so simple-chic.
    I can't decide which I like best!

  4. That's very interesting. I bet it would look very sleek over a white shirt.

I feel done with Dior Homme. Kris does some interesting things there, but it doesn't stir me like Hedi. Plus the sizing is running bigger (or for DH that would mean true to size) so it doesn't fit me anyway. I really identify with what Kris does for his women's line. And nope, I don't count the DH vest as a black blazer. It hangs with my long (black) coats actually, which is another addiction in itself...

  9. well seeing all these black blazers in a row makes it obvious that they are all different! i don't actually own a black blazer, and now you make me think i ought to. i really love the strap detail in the 1st one. ~joelle
