supersize it

this sweater is so big i have trouble making it work sometimes. unfortunately Missoni, and knits in general, are practically impossible to alter well. i should resist the temptation to buy items in the wrong size just to take advantage of a great discount. ::sigh::

and this bag looks much larger in pictures than it does in my hands - must be my napoleon complex. i love it though!

it came with an extra-long strap, a shorter strap...

... and you can take off the attachments altogether to turn it into an oversized clutch.

  1. That clutch is one of my favorite pieces I've seen of yours. And I remember that sweater from your stylediary - very nice. I really like the colors.

  5. I love that sweater; the ombre really works well. Hmm, I think it looks perfect on you; I don't think I would prefer it more fitted. I like the effect with the CdC belt too.

  8. wow. nice bag.
i love the oversize knit. a good belt makes any 'deal' worthwhile. :). though that probably means that i suffer from the same addiction.

  9. I am extremely picky with ombre, but those colors are so beautiful together and esp with the belt.

  10. Too many goodies in one outfit! How are you finding anything at Filene's basement??? Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Hermes belt is gorgeous. Reminds me to wear my cuff more often. I have the collier de chein cuff in brown w/ gold hardware and somehow I could never match it with anything. Also that Fendi clutch has the best details. I love it all!

  16. The colours of the knit are amazing though, I can see why you bought it even when it doesn't fit right!
