new purchase(s)

woot! new purchase! rick owens lilies asymmetrical zipper lightweight jacket. i remember i had bookmarked this on net-a-porter for the longest time waiting for the price to drop to an acceptable level, which of course it never did, since NAP sales generally suck. however i did find this jacket for an acceptable (though not bargain) price at Century21. the colors don't quite match - i think the top is "stone" and the skirt is "pearl" or vice versa, but whatevs, close enough...

Outfit Details
today's outfit included another new purchase, gareth pugh vest/breastplate/body armor (this i did find for a bargain price!) but i did not have time to take a decent outfit picture. will post later.

p.s. i found the full-length mirror in my office building, it's in the bathroom that's two floors below mine, so i'll have some new work outfits posted in the near future.

    This is why you are on my daily reads list, I love the Rick Ownes outfit, so soft and fem with a touch of edginess. As for the armor I can't wait to see how you're going to incorporate that into you wardrobe, looks like a real special piece. Don't take this the wrong way but I have never in my career seen a IT person as well dresses as you...EVER.

    sweeeeeeeeet finds! I walked into Century 21 once (got a decently priced Y-3 dress) and vowed to never go back in. It's too crazy!

    swank heights - the key to century21 is to go right when it opens; everything's still organized and the crowds aren't crazy. of course they don't let you bring in coffee so that could be a problem for early morning shopping...

    brook and lyn - thanks for the compliment! wish i could wear half this stuff for work, it would justify my purchases! but i kind of find comfort in my work outfits, kind of like when i was younger and had a uniform. you wake up and don't really have to worry about what to wear, since it's basically a formula

    Ohhh that is hot, i love the whole look and u can't tell the colors aren't the same. Anyway I can't wait for some work outfits!!!!! I need more inspiration for work-appropriate outfits.
