  1. I have been following your blog since Style Diary...before you went all black. Haha!

And, before Style Diary started to go way, way, waaaay, downhill.

Anyway, I was on Etsy.com and this coat made me think of you immediately. I can picture you wearing it with your leather pants.

It looks cozy...and I am totally drooling over the light gray cashmere victorian overcoat this designer sells. Who says I have too many coats? Never!!!

  6. I love this look! I love mens blazers, and have been looking on ebay for one I could wear as a Fall jacket. I have no clue how men's sizing works, and I don't want the shoulders to be too huge. Could I ask what size yours is? I'm about a 6 womens'.

I really enjoy following your blog - I'm not a member but have been looking at yours for about a year now :)

    Cheers.

  7. ^^ anon: it's actually a women's blazer, French size 34 which is my usual French size.

When I look for blazers on eBay I don't really care much for sizes, so whether it's a men's or women's blazer doesn't matter so much, but I always, always ask for the shoulder-to-shoulder measurement. Compare that to a jacket that you already own that fits well. You can probably go up an inch, but any more than that and the jacket might look frumpy and ill-fitting. Even if it's the "oversized" look, the shoulders should always fit correctly.

  8. I love your consignment picks! I used to do the rounds of such shops in the upscale arrondissements of Paris but it's been awhile since I last did that. Maybe next week, when the pay drops!
